The US, UK and France have launched air strikes on Syria. The US received support from allies.
That night Trump in a debate said that " the purpose of our actions tonight is to establish a strong deterrent  against the production , spread and use of chemical weapons".
The Syrian army said it was targeted with over 100 missiles. It's ally Russia claimed 70 of those were shot down.
According to Jen- Yvens Le Drian the regime of Bashar Al _ Assad knew what it was exposing itself to when it once again used these heinous weapons against it's own peoples.
It was a limited, targeted and effective strikes with clear boundries that expressly sought to avoid escalation said British leader.
